It doesn't seem to fit under the CDC. Guns, gun ownership, gun use, gun misuse... none of those are diseases or medical disorders. But then the question is where do you think any research should be done.

Oooh- we can do it like sugar- and let the NRA do their own research. I'm sure that will be awesome. Perhaps angels will come down and give us this "independent" research (or no one will do it- voila- NRA wet dreams come true.) I'm not sure what you have against the CDC, but they're more likely to be impartial than just about anyone else. So what your answer says to me is, you really don't want this to happen. You never thought about it. You didn't know the CDC was even in the ballgame- and you don't care that republicans have tried to kill research. Go you.
