Today, you cannot buy a bump stock in the US because of the panic buying caused by threats of outlawing them. They were selling for $200 and are now selling for $750. It is fucking pathetic. But it isn't the fault of NRA. A reasonable approach would be to go to the small number of companies making them and saying, "We have a problem, let's see how we can work it out, because otherwise, we're going to close you down." Then, hear what they have to say. This puts the impetus on them to figure out how to create a product that can secure the safety of a crowd. We're a smart people. We can figure out solutions to hard problems.
