GZ: OK. My thinking is S&P Puts -- I lack your experience and I don't want to be dependent on immediate short-trade necessity. I can only sample the market throughout the day. We are still ice encased -- worst storm of this type ever. I have several leap Puts on S&P 85, Dec 99. What is your feeling? It does cut the downside potential to deal in Puts; although it may temper the profit leverage. Bond rates are sinking as well! I love it. Boy you hit this one on the head so far -- but that darned last hour run-up last Monday was a shock, to me at least. Ciao, Ted
