Yes but that will signal the end of the bear is near, sort of a blow stage at that time.

The interest rate now is distorted by Asean and "flight to quality" buying, and is not based on US domestic fundamentals. This makes it more difficult for the banks and other interest rate dependent businesses. If you look at the economic data and recent earnings, then you can only conclude that the US economy is very strong. Therefore, rates are artifically low for the domestic circumstances exhibited by our economy. Lower rates simply stimulate economies and ours doesn't need stimulation. Look at retail sales, auto sales, home sales, etc., all doing very nicely. Current rates are strictly a distortion caused by fright in my opion.
