Trump brought up North Korea, but said Xi could solve it, just like Xi "solved it" after meeting Trump in Mar-a-Lago.

Stamding next to Xi, Trump called the US trade relationship with China "unsustainable", but Trump leaves having done nothing to improve the situation other than signing a memorandum hoping China signs some uneconomic contracts with LNG producers and maybe buys a few planes from Boeing.

If I walked away from China with nothing, I too would look very tired.

Trump made a lot of big promises to voters back in America about how he would "fix" the problem with China with his super negotiating skills, "Because it's so easy," he's claimed repeatedly.

Why the big nothing burger then?
