What makes you think those are the two stark choices? Given the history we know exists of tax cuts creating economic growth?

Given the fact that after the tax cuts of 2003 tax revenue went up substantially in the ensuing 5 years?

I asked you a very simple question. Let me try and rephrase it so your delicate mind can comprehend it.

Given a choice between tax cuts that create massive debt or tax increases that reduce the deficits and eventually the debt which do you prefer?

You seem to think that I am arguing the issue. And on the opposite side from you, to boot. I am not. I'm challenging your question as inept. You have framed it as an either/or question and it is not.

If you offered me a choice between coffee and licorice I would choose neither. Those are two of the mere handful of foods I dislike. I would wonder why you didn't offer me raspberries or chocolate or hamachi sashimi, three of my favorite foods. Why would you force me to choose between coffee and licorice when there are other options? Either you're trying to manipulate me into a false corner or you are so dim that you really think that coffee and licorice are the only two foods.

In which case, why engage...
