Much like a marriage headed for divorce court

she: "I NEED my manicures, massages, clothes, BMW, lunches with GF's, hair dressers, new furniture, vacations, etc."

he: "I NEED my golf, my vette, my nights out with the boys, my speed boat, my fishing vacations, my ski trips, my $200 cable bill, my quad, my jet ski, etc."

One is a republican and one is a democrat. lol!

Newt had nothing to do with balanced budgets. Revenue soared under Clinton so it was his tax increases plus paygo that forced republicans to be adults for a few years.

I see no evidence there are any adults left in that party.

Blaming spending is an easy talking point. Who wanted wars in the Middle East? Who pushed the country into those wars? Blaming spending without saying one party pushed that spending is irresponsible. Republicans wanted the explosion of spending under both Reagan and Bush.

President Obama had to increase spending to save the global economy. No other president in modern history had handed such a horrible hand and played it so well. If your party wasn't full of racists they'd have helped him.
