It's possible, but not likely that we talked past each other. Taxes need to go up. There is no other option. She said it was one option. Perhaps she didn't now deficits are projected to be $1 trillion within a few years. I don't know what she knows but if she knows that facts I can't imagine why she'd ignore this simple reality.

The budget year that ended Sept. 30 had a deficit of $693 billion which was over $100 billion more than projected. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this generation seems incapable of growing up. That much deficits spending can be resolved with tax increases only and anyone who supports tax cuts or says tax cuts will fix the problem doesn't know what they're talking about.
