I remember that about you. I totally accept the existence of absolutes as referents. I agree that we can't experience them. When someone says, "that is the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me," ... I hear "There is a nicer thing, maybe a perfectly nice thing but you will probably never hear it, but maybe get closer to it. Ideas like "hate" are referential. We can see extremes but we don't experience absolutes. We say things that are absolutes but we can't prove them; things like "everybody dies."

I'm not expecting it but there is even some evidence that the sun has (or could) rise from the west (crust slipping), or that the gravitational poles have (or could) reverse. express.co.uk
