socialism....an interesting concept yet it seems to work well on a small scale with families. We, as parents, give to our children until they reach the point where they become self sufficient(we hope!). I think socialism worked Ok in Sweden(for a time). In fact, show me the political system that has had the most success in a country for the longest time in history. I'm betting that the country that you point out was first and foremost incredibly warlike and took relentlessly from its neighbors. Striving for political stability within a country that doesn't steal from its neighbors is probably a futile exercise.
