Reached after the market close, Bay Networks said... ... Reached after the market close, Bay Networks said it has released its Accelar 1000 product line as planned. The core product has been shipping since the middle of December, while the gigabit ethernet portion is slated to ship during Bay's third fiscal quarter ending March. Bay Networks director of investor relations Sandra Toms characterized as incorrect a Wessels Arnold & Henderson LLC report that said the gigabit ethernet product was delayed. Toms said Bay previously had stated it would ship the gigabit ethernet product during its third quarter. From WSJ
