Since our deficits have risen almost every year of our existence and every other generation tried to tame those increases with tax increases and this is the only generation that feels it's entitled to massive debt from spending and tax cuts you can pretend you're engaged in an honest and open debate only if you're willing to let our children pay for what we spend.

Every generation before ours had two parties that raised taxes. Now only one party does it. What happens when that party stops doing the hard votes? The US will cease to exist and when that happens you can rest assured that I asked a question that wasn't framed in a manner that made you "feel" good.

You know deficits are rising again and rising against fast. Or maybe you don't and are too lazy to look up the numbers.

You know the deficits are expected to reach $1 trillion a year by 2020 assuming we don't have a recession or war. If we have a recession or war we'll hit $1 trillion faster.

The real facts remain simple. There's nothing on the face of the earth that can undo decades of debt from tax cuts and the irresponsible people who defend it. This generation created 20x more debt than all previous generations and we have a party that wants tax cuts.

If you don't have the balls to be part of the solution, get out of the way.
