Sal,

"I dual-boot WinNT/95 with no problems. Do you need some help?"

I literally tried every installation scenario over 4 whole days and had only one configuration that made it through the complete boot-process. Despite using an ATI video and then a CIRRUS video card, I was unable to get it to run in anything but the 16-color VGA default mode. I tried EVERY default ATI and CIRRUS driver they had. The bootable NT configuration crashed when I tried to open Windows NT Explorer. The only possibilities left are hardware incompatibilities of some sort or another. Trust me when I say I did not give up without a fight!

Its not worth anymore of my time and since my machine is 3 years old, its not worth dumping any more money into either. My plan is to get it running under Win95 again and give it to my sister for everyday word-processing. As for myself, I have adopted the John Dowd life-style: Own a MAC - Invest in PC's.

Thanks for offering, but neither one of us should waste our valuable time on my 3-year old hardware, its upgrade cycle has come to an end I think!

Cheers,

Norm
