Thanks GZ!! It's an interesting story, and history.. My friend, who is currently the CEO, is someone I grew up with..

His father, Bruce Bradley, had originally developed M-Vac as a means of sampling for Pathogens on food processing lines.. This was after the Ecoli scares of the early '90s..

And when they marketed it to various food processors, they all agreed that it was a superior system to anything they had,... Thanked them very much for bringing to their attention, and then proceeded to ignore them..

Seems they realized that using such efficient technology would likely force them to have to maintain even greater levels of cleanliness, and increase their risks of being shut down for recalls.

But then, forensic folks, who WANT the best sampling technology available for collecting DNA, started to become aware of it and that market seems to be growing rapidly..

Maybe someday, the Gov't will require the most efficient technology to protect our food supply.. But it will probably require a massive outbreak and multiple deaths to make that happen.
