I think you're hunch will be right... the RUT is now sitting right at the middle tine of the pitchfork which is why I bought it on Friday, sure it could go either way but the tendency is for a bounce off that mid tine even before any subsequent decline, presuming it actually does decline from here... for that market to go down from this level at the mid tine without at least a bounce would illustrate incredible weakness and I just don't think it's really that weak... And of course this could have been the low already and we could see the next rally begin from here, why not... The DOW and SP look fine, not a single feather is ruffled for those markets... also, the exit stops for the optimized portfolio position have been raise significantly as of Friday, this tends to signal the next upward move... GZ

RUS has been below the NASDAQ since 2013. Why would anyone invest in it?
