Dell cuts PC prices, cites Asia ROUND ROCK, Texas, Jan 8 (Reuters) - Dell Computer Corp said Thursday it would reduce prices on selected desktop personal computers by up to 15 percent and linked the move to cost benefits it is reaping from the Asian economic crisis. Dell said because it builds all its personal computers to order, the company can quickly factor changes in component costs to its pricing. ===================== Will Micron benefit from Asian crisis in the same way? Both companies get components from Asia, while Asian sales are 6% for Dell and 8% for Micron. Any opinions? Alex
