I don't agree that single payer is the solution. In addition, we do have smart ceos. The company I used to work for decided to partially self-insure and subsidize the costs for the employees. This is happening more and more as companies compete for people. You seem to be very down on US CEOs? Did you have a bad experience or something? When I look at the data, we still have the world's most innovative and largest companies. They must be doing something right.

And if you take the profits out of the system who do you think is going to come in on their day off (from their PAYING job) and domthe surgery?

You know, everyone in the system has to be paid if you anything to happen.
