Forget Star Wars...high license fees and if you haven't been to a toy department there are a million Tiger Star Wars games etc. Stay with the thing you do best...invent your own games, make them yourselves and keep the money. None of the shelves sold out of the Star Wars stuff this year, that I could tell by watching the shelves and hangers. There was a GLUT of the stuff.
The important marketing point is that Radica is making games the ADULTS love...they spend the money...keep em happy.
And with the new line up they are bringing the kids on board with Bass Fishing for kids and the new games, trail bike, inline skating, and the antiaircraft game. Not that there isn't any crossover...there is plenty
The NFL through Hasbro will bring in more OEM biz, lower margins but that keeps the factory going and takes the heat off the cyclical nature of the whole thing.
Radica is doing exactly what they said and exactly what will make them grow faster and faster.
