>>>Good lord, she was a 23 year old woman who said she was going to Washington with her knee pads on.

That is different than pedophilia or grabbing them by the you know what.<<<

Yes it is. In addition Monica admitted to having pursued Clinton. Clinton officials labeled her the "stalker" before the scandal broke out, and had her moved to the pentagon to keep her away from the oval office. I personally had no problem with his dalliances, even with Lewinski, as long as I believed it was just consensual adults getting into it. We knew before voting him in, he was a philanderer. You guys claiming it was all about a blow job is just complete and total BS.

Once more of the truth came out, I changed my view of him. I saw him trying to convince the American public to support him in destroying Lewinski as a psychotic troubled youth, denying any involvement or responsibility on his part. Then he was exposed by the blue dress. That is what was wrong with his conduct (the attempt to involve us in his deceitful assault on a citizen). Then I began to learn of his past which wasn't all consensual and much of it was abusive (we probably know little about the consensual stuff). ...and that this history of using his power to damage women who had been involved with him, that too is what was wrong with his conduct. Why do you guys insist on ignoring all that?

koan; Do NOT defend Clinton. That is a losing game. For one what he did is indefensible - and for another you are falling right into the trap set by the deflectors who want only to deflect away from Moore. Get smart here!

I think Moore should not only step aside, he should be prosecuted. He's an animal and I stand 100% against him. If the GOP loses the majority in the Senate, then so be it. People like Moore cannot be allowed to go unpunished.

Your defense of Clinton is unconscionable. It is never ok for a person in a position of power in government or in the workplace to engage in sexual conduct with a subordinate. That is the definition of sexual harassment. Bill Clinton was guilty of that. The fact that the liberals on this thread defend this behavior in one breath and then claim to be defenders of women in the next breath is truly flabbergasting. Have you no shame?

It's time everyone take your ideological blinders off. Sexual predatory behavior should not be a political issue and should be something 100% of Americans agree on. If someone is being a sexual predator, who gives a shit what party he comes from? He or she should be held accountable, full stop. I have voted both sides of the aisle and am a social liberal and economic conservative. I find it extremely distasteful when I see people defending this kind of behavior just because you are loathe to see a black mark against your party. It's reprehensible.
