Today's Commentary: 01/09/98 (from AIC)

Pricing on select 16 meg devices (i.e. 4Mx4 EDO SOJ) continues to move forward reaching levels last seen at the beginning of November. 16 and 64 meg synchronous remain stable. Many OEM's are adjusting inventory levels on Intel CPU's as a February price reduction from Intel approaches.

insider, mu is a decent buy if you want to pay $25+ for a company tha will lose money over the next 3 qs. they have negative cash flow and the ante is raised for 64 mb production. when mu gets to 64 mb (remember 200-300% more bit supply - a lot of supply to soak up 80% annual growth ;-) the big boys will be working on 256 mb (another 200-300% increase in bit output). mu will borrow money every cycle just to break even.

if that risk is worth $25+ to you then have at it ;-)
