Great article John. So buying Cube seems to be a good bet since regardless of who wins in the HDTV market (Computer or TV manufacturers), CUBEs chips (and some others) will be in those components.

And don't forget those DVD camcorders. I've got to get one of those puppies when they come out.

CHINA, January 2, AsiaInfo Services, Inc -- Insiders predict
that VCD will still enjoy a promising domestic market in 1998.
Currently the domestic VCD market is in a high-speed development
period. According to statistics, by the end of 1997, a total of
13 million VCDs have been manufactured in China. The total sales
is around 11 million. The market concentrates on the relatively
developed big cities and some medium-sized cities. 10 to 12
million VCD and VCD combined stereo sets are expected to be sold
