Been thinking about what you wrote, that is a lot of RAM! Bet the system cost a few bucks back then. Yet you say a similar set up today is not much faster? Is it because there has been little improvement in CPU speed since then?

Impressive machine. Perhaps water/liquid cooling systems are better than when I bought my machine. My machine has raid 1 for data. Two 1TB drives. I also have a Pre-Wired SATA Backplane Expansion Bracket For Easy access to bare drives from the front. The company I bought it from has lifetime support. I haven't called them in a few years and never had to wait more than a few minutes.
