Yes, projecting. To distort that function and the truth in general is a typical right wing tactic.

Normal fathers never think of sex with their kids. That thought is outrageous. Children love cuddling with their parents. During WWII orphan babies were dying in their cribs from lack of touch. Finally they figured it out and the nurses would pick them up and they were fine.

In biology touch is love. We all need touch to be healthy.
