I've been long the bonds since this summer. I don't want to see rates move higher until I get out of my positions. Hopefully, I'll get a signal before that happens. I expect it eventually will.

What makes you think the Japanese will start selling bonds, they are sitting on incredible profits, they know the whole world is watching to see what they will do, as if they have a corner on US T Bonds, they have seen their own long bond go below 3 %, they still have a very positive investment cash inflow into US Bonds, the dollar is still going higher against the yen, without a hint of turning, trade deficits this year could explode with Japan, so someday maybe, but they are not even close yet. JMO.gregor
