Yes, that's true. The hated billionaires are not very sharing and caring, although they pretend to be. Zuckerberg of Facebook, a very famous liberal, has called for a Universal Basic Income. When asked who would pay for it, he said the government, by which he meant the taxpayer...you and me. When asked if he would pay for it out of his billions in net worth, he was silent on the matter. Looks like the liberals don't really have solutions after all. Their unserious solutions always involve stealing from one group of people to give to another.

I have a solution. Let's start with getting rid of the Federal Reserve, balancing our budget, and returning to honest money. Then let's cut back on the military, stop fighting wars everywhere, close bases, and start focusing on our economy. In addition, let's fix health care, but increasing competition and introducing free market reforms that include biometrics in the pricing of insurance. For example, if you are sick because of genetic issues, then maybe we create a high risk insurance pool for you, but if you have conditions related to your lack of exercise or overeating, then you get the full burden of your own choices reflected in the cost of your insurance. Let market forces enable the people to take care of themselves and incentivize them to be healthy, instead of the Socialism we have now where 5% of the avoidable heart diseased people in this country consume 50% of the resources.

Time to make hard choice folks. It turns out that the US doesn't have unlimited to funds to spend on all of your dreams. We need a return to core values, including independence, hard work, and taking care of yourself, instead of looking for others to do it for you.

Bentway,
It's different in China
Of course it is. China is discovering capitalism.
Capitalism here is self-destructing, as the wealthy refuse to share the pie anywhere near equally with the workers who actually create the wealth.
Same arguments were made back during the Industrial Revolution.

Same arguments led to the rise of communism in the first place, as industrialization was seen as benefitting only the wealthy while the workers suffered.

Communism was an abject failure. It's younger brother, socialism, isn't too far behind.

Capitalism continues to reward those countries that choose to adopt it.
