You are not talking about Michael Metz of Oppenheimer, are you? Or is it Jimmy Rogers? These two are the only bozos I know of who have been big bears on the US market ever since the DOW of 3500 (not so much Jimmy Rogers though). If these 2 (especially Metz) are now bullish then I better sell everything and get out of this market as quickly as I can!

Joe Granville was indeed predicting a bear market for many years, and does not have the huge following he had in the 1970s. However, he has been tremendously accurate since turning bullish the day the market bottomed in July 1996. He's one of the fathers of TA, having invented on-balance volume and other commonly used techniques.
