This PNF of GE will show the 42.12. As I stated previously it occurred in OCT 2007.

It does NOT show the 33.03 back in 2016 or the 5.83 off the lows.

It also does not show the significant % moves that can be had if one understands GE to the call side or when to write those deep in the monies.

Regardless as many throw out the many reasons to stay away from GE, there are those who do understand GE'S foot print, it's intellectual property and a value that some might find of interest as the price drops.

Fintas, remember you have to remember stock splits..... extraordinary events such as Allegheny stock symbol
Y... when they sold Investors Diversified Services (IDS) to American Express in 1983 .

due to the sale they . Paid a 1 time
special cash dividend of $50 a share as a liquidity event for the major shareholders.

Value line listed 1 family owning 42% of the stock back in those days.

I recall being on an Airplane and reading it being the First Billion dollar CASH deal.... although the price5
was later scaled back to more like $800 Million, presumably to contract agreement stipulations..

It gets complicated to put that type of information into a chart.... and it's also very laborious to keep track of
the quarterly dividend of stocks over long periods of time... If you own it or have the statements for
the last 50 or 75 years and have really been keeping very accurate.... detailed records... then you
know. otherwise "caveat emptor"..... it is the buyers obligation to do due diligence...

also know as buyer beware...

I am pretty sure that Yahoo was trading at $240 at the top in 2000 because I had a colleague of my
brother who owned the stock..

Stockcharts showed it not above $120 and now YHOO, Yahoo has been purchased..

many, many data series are of dubious quality as you go back in time...

John

Those are GE's closing prices based on monthly data....not the highs and lows.

You can see the actual data reflected here (note the next to last column, adj close):
