Women will stab each other in the back over the smallest things. We’re doing a renovation of a small building and finally got around to the electrical. A local contractor was recommended and this very young lady shows up, pony tail, tattoos and turns out third generation electrician. Her firm provided the lowest quote by about 20%. Lots of little snide comments were tossed around, too young, not enough experience blah, blah, blah. Not only did she do a good job replacing two sub-panels she fixed some switches and a light that hadn’t worked in ten years and cleaned up a bunch of excess wiring, never took a lunch break and would work late to finish. Would I hire her again? I wouldn’t hire anyone else and I won’t ask for a quote next time.
