20 years ago the news was biased, just like it was 40 years ago. In the past year we have had multiple news reporters say, in effect, "The end justifies the means, and if we have to advocate for our candidate to guarantee she wins, that's what we'll do." And that is what they did. So, you get CNN giving debate questions to HRC and running 4 hours a night of racist, hate speech against Trump for the entire election season. It was the most shameful, outrageous act of our news media I think I've ever seen. It is just a different time and place. I'm not saying it wasn't bad back then, just that it has become totally outrageous now.
