QE appears to be falling short on sovereign debt coverage for next year also

ECB QE 1.9% GDP vs EU est. fiscal deficit 1.7% GDP

Roughly $30 billion excess purchases over sales

BOJ QE 16.5% GDP vs BOJ est. fiscal deficit 4.5% GDP

Roughly $600 billion excess purchases over sales

The combined excess QE by ECB and BOJ of $630 billion falls $220 billion short of full coverage for US, Europe, and Japan.

I'm assuming a midpoint of 7.5 trillion yen per month for the purchase quantity by the BOJ. They may stop well short of that as their holdings breach 50% of supply of JGB's.
