>> They said over and over they would Repeal and Replace. I voted for that.

If the tax bill fails, Trump's legislative agenda has no chance going forward. What I've seen of it looks like good reform but I can't really envision Schumer Democrats supporting it. I see no reason it would be more likely to be pass than health care reform.

But if it does pass, Trump needs to go back to Republicans and insist on a real repeal & replace effort, where a new law is carefully crafted and put on the table. One that is not government centric but does provide some reasonable care for the poor and indigent. And something OTHER THAN MEDCAID for the 100-140% of poverty.

The biggest single mistake in ACA was that 100-140% -- which was the Democrats' approach to just throwing more people onto the public dole. No rhyme or reason, other than to get more people on the dole (hence, voting Democrat, which over time will work for them). Sick way to run a country.

The fact that the GOP didn't have a good plan ready to go and pre-agreed is absolute negligence on their part. WTF have they been doing the last 5 years? ... Congress is total shit. None of them are doing their jobs.
Yup. They haven't got time to think about proper legislation. They spend whatever time they have pumping money from their donors. And then they can't deliver because no-one will compromise across the aisle.
