Hopefully, Apple will see the pain and again sell a Mac Pro with a case that can be opened and modifications made. The "trash can" model never lived up to the hype. Agreed. The Mac Pro trash can was a huge mistake for Apple, even by their own admission. The new model to be released next year is supposed to go back to making it an easily expandable computer again, but we'll see. The old "cheese grater" Mac Pro had a world class case design and was easily upgradeable, but Apple really screwed it up by making the trash can.
