Facts are facts. Knowing them helps explain what's happening in the country. As for the market let's look at one index and see what's happening. The Dow is up a shade under 24% so far in the past year (12 months). 13 companies are above that number and 17 are below. But look where the real growth is at. It's in Boeing, Apple, and Caterpillar, Microsoft, Visa, and McDonald's. Needless to say, you kinda know which stocks I'd pick and which I'd avoid. Knowing when to buy and when to sell is the fun part.
