I voted for Obama against McCain. I don't like McCain too much. He was a much better, more thoughtful candidate back in 2000. I actually voted for him in the primaries against Bush Jr. But when McCain was running against Obama, I thought to myself he was clearly over the hill. His choice of Palin cemented that for me. He's way past his sell-by date. Then later, I voted for Romney over Obama, because Obama's first 4 years looked to me like a 3rd term of Bush Jr. and I hated that darned Obamacare, because I knew it would be a catastrophic increase on the 99%ers' healthcare bills, which is exactly what has come to pass. When Obama got into bed with Hillary, it introduced a taint to his Presidency that was hard to shake off. He would have been better off cutting ties with her after the Primaries. He might have been a better, more independent President and may have focused more on climate change and less on screwing up healthcare. Healthcare was Hillary's passion and I think she coopted Obama into it, which changed the course of his Presidency and will be damaging his legacy for eternity now.
