We've already seen insurance companies pulling out of many Obamacare exchanges and even entire markets because they can't make money. I don't think that you draw a conclusion whether a doctor's group could make money under single payer from whether insurance companies can make money under Obamacare. I don't see a strong enough parallel between the models. There are providers making a living in socialized systems in other countries. There are providers in this country making a living with just Medicaid patients. Not a great living but a living. There are already more and more salaried doctors in this country. You don't have to run a business to practice.
