But if we're going to investigate Trump for non-sense, then I say let's be equal about the madness and go investigate Hillary too.

Except that they aren't equivalent.

Hillary is of negligible if any consequence going forward. Investigating Hillary, if productive, would be punitive.

Trump's campaign, OTOH, is being investigated for a potential inappropriate relationship with a hostile regime. That condition is a matter of national security going forward.

Pursuing the Russia line of inquiry if it turns out to intersect with Hillary, fine. But getting a special prosecutor whose purpose is to investigate Hillary, a past political rival, is what banana republics do, not the US.
