This asia thing will go to extremes. It all rests on what Laurence Sommers comes up with. The suspense is going to be incredible! I would love to be the fly on the wall.

Unless Indonesia caves in really fast and meets IMF requirements their markets will be history sometime next week. Their government is facing massive problems now. Korea is in the same boat. They can save themselves a lot more grief if they submit to the IMF, they will kill their economies for years if they don't swallow some of the medicine.

In some areas they are. But most of what they do is in the mid to low end of the business. I like the fact that they are swimming upstream to higher tech products with higher margins. Sadly too many people think of them only as a "modem maker" There is so much more that they make. COMS will go to an extreme value, it's getting pretty close now IMHO.
