But Lisa with all due respect.... you cannot trade "principle"...you can't incorporate that with watching the tape and trading the markets... I think all of us here from Jan 97 thru Aug-Sept 97, made a fortune because of the the direction of the trend... after that we got killed because of the overly exuberant mind set of this and all other threads... however even then TT was cautious and in cash...smart cookie TT is... and I might add doing just fine in these wild wackie markets as is Kev and others...mechanical trading is the way to go..take out the emotions and forget the noise... if we all traded options mechanically we would all have made a hellava lot more money than we did...esp. ME!!! and I made a LOT!!!
