You know perfectly well waht I mean: something no one in the markets expects. As with Asia this year. Or it could be a natural disaster, a war, wahtever. Otherwise I don't think we'll see a 2000 point plunge in a couple of days.

The real problem is not being able to guess waht'll happen. I don't mean for us, I mean in general. Tihs is why Asia's got everyone so worried: eventual consequences can't be predicted with any accuracy, so one day we feel relieved that help is on the way, the next panicked because some new horror's cropped up.

My own candidate for Fun Tihs Year: the foundation of the European Central Bank. BOUND to have ramifications of one sort or another, especially as they don't really seem to have figured out how it'll work yet.
