Maybe I missed it but I didn't see anyone mention that Bill Vogel of Nations Bank Montgomery upped his price target on WCII to 100 today.

He sited the fact that since T paid 180 mil per city for TCGI that they would easily pay 64 mil per city to get an add'l 700,000 Bldgs on net without having to pay the high construction costs which don't make it feasible. He sited WCOM as needing to do the same thing and that WCII is the last big CLEC left with National exposure to accomplish this. Hence a bidding war could errupt from either of these two or from others who still want a national footprint to compete in this market

He also notes that WCII should be able to reach 5000 Bldgs by the end of 98 and 8000 by the end of 99 passing TCGI.

Paul, it's great to see Jack Grubman backing this Co and as you know this can do great things. It's been a long road from $3 in 94 to now with many ups and downs and I try to maintain an even keel so as not to get caught up in the emotion. My vision back then is as it is today. This Co' is in it's infancy and if we make it to 100 before being bought up, I'm sure it won't be without many more ups and downs. My long term outlook will still remains the same unless the picture changes and Mgt fails to perform in a big way.

This Co will have growing pains but that doesn't mean it can't succeed. Those are great problems to have. The problems you don't want are the ones without customers, no complaints etc..

Keep in mind from a marketing point of view that a problem is just another opportunity to service your client and when done right you will develop loyalty from them. I hope WCII has that same point of view.

See Ya!!
