I liked my mother in law. Although we were completely different, for some reason we shared a sense of humour and at times we were in fits of laughter.

It's very good to like your in laws.

One of the very good things about people with quite different points of view is that they can save us from our own limited, biased and ignorant point of view.

That's one of the great things about Silicon Investor. Heck, even women, despite their genetic limitations, can provide valuable ideas. They are also useful in other ways. Imagine a world of just engineers for example. Engineering school was all male and quite dull.

Come to think of it, that's prejudicial and sexist because some women are engineers these days. Rosemary who was a town planner at Onehunga Borough Council in 1973 said that to engineers progress is a straight line, which I thought was a sexist and occupational denigration but it was obviously memorable.
