Ken, I agree that a free fall after a reverse split would spell the end. The only problem is that it looks like CAWS is going to the pink sheets (delisted) after its short two-day life on the Nasdaq Small Cap. CAWS visability in the market place will sink to zero once they are on the pink sheets. In fact you may not even be able to get a price quote on CAWS over your favorite quote service.

Ken, I would rather own, lets say,100 shares of a $10 stock than 1000 shares of a $1, so called penny stock. For one reason, I think it's better to get the exposure from a listing on a major board. For another, I think it far more likely that a $10 stock would be on the "radar screen" of major investors. Lastly, I think it would make it easier for an investment partner to justify to it's board and stockholders any risks it might undertake. However, it might be helpful to announce such a reverse split along with some other positive news to help minimize "sticker shock".

With 40 million shares outstanding and 18 million in the float, a 1/10 reverse split will not cause a free fall in price but maybe even an upturn with some positive news! Reverses usually fall because of selling pressure. Let the shorts sell CAWS after a reverse and sooner or later you will have a tremendous squeeze with less than 2 million shares in the float! Of course this is all hypothetical. Bottom line here is that a reverse split is the only way CAWS will be kept off the BB/pink sheets and on NASDAQ! Remember, most brokers can't recommend a BB stock unless very strict requirements are kept. I don't think CAWS can survive just on word of mouth unsolicited orders.
(Btw, my average is $8.00.)
