This is nothing more than an ad hominem attack in disguise. If you have a complaint voice it. Everyone knows both of you are liberals and hence disagree with and in some cases hate conservatives. But if you want to discuss "critical thinking" you need to raise some issue in support of your claim or it is just a generic attack on people who are already the targets of your ignorant, free floating hatred. How is it different from racism? Hating someone for their religion or for their political beliefs is no different from hating on people with different skin color. It is closed-mindedness, intolerance, and frankly, the product of abject stupidity.
