Oh yes of course, I was only thinking on the positive side of the market. I've bought plenty of puts before, but my account is not set up for shorting stocks directly.

In all my years of investing, I've done alot better being on the positive side of the market. Ascend was my biggest winner by buying puts. I told myself that starting this year I would quit the option business. I'm always tempted though, because it takes so much less money to make a killing. I fight the urge everyday, kinda like a recovering alcoholic.

Does anybody else share my view? Unless your writing the options, you lose 90% of the time.
