I think the gop has proven itself to be incapable of governing and it always immoral. It hasn't passed any meaningful legislation since the financial collapse in 2007. Banning the party doesn't mean another can't be created to replace it. It simply means that a party that says it's "fiscally conservative" and then passes massive debt from tax cuts doesn't have the right to exist. Since gop voters are too dumb to hold their elected officials accountable we need to do it for them.
