Barry,
<<I think you'll want to short shortly before the actual split.>>
Sounds right to me. We'll have to see how the "information trail" develops, whether earnings and split come together or are quasi-separate events. The February date in the filing for the special shareholder's meeting looks like AOL might want a split announcement to perhaps offset the earnings announcement.
Best,
-Steve

BARRY; MOOV is on the move this morning ! I think you said you had
some, take a fast look. I think the VUPDA deal must be in the bag,
for her to jump like this. ALSO Watch VUPDA and keep in mind .75 of
her price is the fair value of MOOV as per the merger.
This is to hot a jump in MOOV for nothing to be up, hold, or buy more to avg down, from what you told me you were in at.
Today may be the last chance I think to get in under fair value.
I'm not with out my motives in posting this, I got 11,600 shares
would have 12K but one order did a partial fill.
