Chris,

Thanks for your reports.

John also said that National will no longer be using the PR rating for Cyrix chips.

This is the best news that I have been awaiting for. Well, NSM might drop again with the good news. Without the PR rating, Cyrix could show the world how advanced are Cyrix processors over Intel processors. End users would be happy to buy the more advanced PC without the fear being fooled by the confused PR rating imposed by Cyrix.

Glad that NSM has better marketing sense than Cyrix.

Chris,

Thanks for sharing the info with us. I guess it is somewhat dissapointing that GXm is still only .35u. Does his answer mean that .35 GXm will run no higher than 200 MHz and future, faster versions will .30u process?

Also, bad news on TSMC, good news on ending the PR rating. I guess NSM is confident they can bring the clock speeds higher.
