You cycle is valid but for reasons that are obvious. When a thread it is started it is generally by someone who has recently bought and is high on it. The first few who stop by are also probably holders of the stock. Eventually word spreads if the stock does well and more come over including the momentum cheerleaders. Then the realists, be they holders or not, come in and start slapping foreheads to make sure things are what they appear to be. Makes sense and the best threads follow the cycle -- minus the momentum cheerleaders -- but that is not realistic because they come no matter how quiet you are. I barely trade at all anymore -- cetainly not a stock like this one.
