Let's not have false equivalencies, or strip words of their useful meanings. Degeneracy is raping babies or children, or exposing oneself in front of primary schools. Rude and lewd conduct is grabbing an adult woman in some unacceptable way. It's ridiculous to call such behavior degeneracy, though, and weird false equivalencies dilute the real sense of disgust we should have at men who violate and abuse the most vulnerable individuals. Any men, no matter of what party, who rape children, or sexually predate on children, are monstrous. Men who offend adult women (without raping them) are offensive and need to be punished- but are not on the same level as true degenerates. Either words mean something, and there are gradations of conduct, or words are meaningless, and we just lump all sexual misconduct together- which seems really odd to me.
