It seems completely preposterous. The last time I visited the tech bookstores in downtown SF, they had taken mass quantities of ActiveX and COM books back off the shelves and replaced them with more Java/Corba books. Due to lack of demand for the MSFT knowledge, I presume. But hey, maybe they don't know their own market.
